She frowned slightly. “The rules are don’t crash. Trust me, it sucks, and I don’t want you to get hurt like I was last year, even if you heal faster.” She hummed, thinking carefully as she stepped up close to Will to press a quick, happy little kiss to his lips. “How about ten laps for you to figure out your car and the track, and then depending on how long that takes you, we can figure out how many laps for the real thing?” She took his hand with a grin. “I don’t care where you take me or how long, as long as it isn’t Italy and it’s long enough to actually relax. What do you want if you win?”
“Don’t crash? Hahaaa, I’ll try~” William responded dryly but soon relaxed some, shoulders slumping, when she pecked his lips with that confident mouth of hers. “Alright, no crashing. I probably won’t go fast enough to crash anyway.” he sighed, slinging his arm around her waist in a lazy hold while looking around the track. Ten laps? How long would ten laps take and how fast would he pick up on the works of this vehicle? “Aaah all good! Let’s get going Cat!” he announced, frustration washing off of him as he walked to one of the cars and grinned back at the Neapolitan, proud and optimistic as he was. “Wanna go get married after this? We’ll head out to America~! Or we go to Spain or even Australia! Anywhere, if you win. And if I win— if I win…” he leaned in closer to his girlfriend, grin as cheeky as ever and his eyes giving a playful shine. “I want to see you in my shirts again, they look a lot better on you. And what better place to dress you up in than back home, in New Zealand?” He knew he was going to lose this bet, hard. But the look on Cat’s face was just priceless, so when he sat back up again he began to laugh quietly behind his hand and pecked Catalina’s cheek. “Good luck aye~”
Ohp, her heart skipped a beat, leaving her slightly breathless and unnerved when he leaned down and said what he wanted. Hmm, maybe she would let him win. She did like wearing his shirts… “Mm, good luck? You’re the one who will need it.” She picked up the earbuds to his radio and made sure said radio was safely tucked in his pocket, then closed the jacket with a hum. “Put those in, and then you put the mask and the helmet over it. Mkay? Then in the car there’s a pair of gloves. Wear those too.” She tiptoed to kiss his lips sweetly one last time before heading to her car- hell yeah, blue car. Putting in her earbuds and pulling on the mask, she closed her jacket before getting in the car, letting the pit crew do their thing as she pulled on the helmet, then the gloves. “Hello, there, love,” she murmured into her radio as she saw him put on his helmet so she knew he would hear herif he had done as he was told. Settling her feet on her pedals, she hummed.
-dissolves into giggles yet again- No, I like them on you. They’re just big enough to be more comfortable a lot of the time.
Oooh? Are you sure? /he leans his face into one hand while dangling a sleeve in the other/ You could always try it on if it gets too cold tonight or— even wear it around your house, if you get bored. /he grins, only really teasing Catalina to see her blush again./
Mmm, I said most of the time. Military uniforms are horrible. -matches his posture with a small smirk- You would have to give me a really good reason.
Gently, she nuzzled into him again. “If I wanted them to disappear, I would make them disappear,” she murmured softly. “So it’s okay.” Contentedly, she let her eyes flutter shut and sighed as she became comfortable. “I like to show them off sometimes. Besides, I don’t ‘ave anywhere to go tomorrow.”
Aaah, she was falling asleep now. His fingers began to work at his girlfriend’s back, lull her to sleep if he could. “I’ll make us something for breakfast aye? So you sleep now.” he murmured, pressing kisses over her face. “E moe ra, ataahua pirinihehe~” the blond man smiled, cuddling into Catalina some.
Wow what a nice time for a massage. Appreciatively, she smiled, stretching a bit and pulling her hair off of her back. As he used that silly nickname again, she hid her smile, rubbing her eyes. “You’re a massive romantic.” Not that it was a bad thing, she thought, draping one arm over his chest.
“Nothing I really planned to do, no,” she said slowly. “Maybe do a little more paperwork if I need to. I have some in my car.” Lacing her fingers together around her glass, she hummed softly. “Did you have something in mind? I really, really don’t want to do papers, so I’m game for anything.” She half slipped her heels off, swinging it from her toes. Ow, her feet hurt. “Mmmm… Especially a foot massage.” Cat tittered.
Paperwork? Ew, no. William made a face while thinking to himself, if she was stuck doing that then he might as well relieve her from the load for tonight. But even with that in mind, the Kiwi had nothing interesting to do at his place, except maybe drink until they fell asleep. And games. “Uhh…I can do the foot massage thing back at mine if you want. The floors are carpeted too so it’d be better for you. We could just drink and play video games…” he trailed of a little, just the thought of Cat’s face at the mention of games making him cringe a little. That just sounded really lame. “O-or we don’t have to play if you don’t want to, just drink…”
Cat listened to Will stumble over his words, giving a soft little laugh. “No, no. That sounds fun. It’s been ages since I’ve played any games at all.” She picked up his hand and kissed his knuckles. “That sounds really nice. And much more fun than paperwork.” Calling over a waiter, she asked for a plate of spaghetti for her boyfriend, then told him to have two bowls of raspberry gelato ready for as soon as they finished the pasta.
